You are an exceptionally talented Principal Engineer with a strong background in platform engineering and applications. You have a proven track record of defining architecture and governance across developer platforms, ensuring resilience, performance, and scalability. With your extensive experience, you are well-versed in the principles of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps, and you understand how to maximize engineering velocity and effectiveness. You are a technical authority who can make complex architectural decisions and provide expert consulting on architecture challenges. You have a passion for mentoring and elevating the technical capabilities of your organization, conducting rigorous design reviews, and introducing best practices.

You have experience with engineering enablement tools such as Bazel and CI/CD pipelines, which are essential for driving code quality and automating governance across the developer lifecycle. You are a champion of engineering quality and have a deep understanding of how to architect solutions that enforce technical standards. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ensures alignment across technical roadmaps and fosters collaboration.

Desirable

You have experience working in fast-paced environments and are comfortable navigating complex technical challenges. Your background includes working with internal tools and infrastructure, and you have a keen eye for identifying opportunities for improvement. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and owning the multi-year technical architecture and standards for the entire Developer Platform ecosystem. You will ensure that all internal tools and infrastructure are resilient, performant, and scalable. As the technical decision-maker, you will act as an expert consultant for complex architecture challenges, ensuring that the technical vision aligns with the organization's goals. You will champion engineering quality by architecting solutions that enforce technical standards and drive code quality across the organization.

You will elevate the technical capability of the organization by providing expert-level consulting and conducting rigorous design reviews. Your influence will extend across the Platform & Apps group, where you will drive architectural standards and ensure that the team adheres to best practices. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams to ensure that the technical roadmaps are aligned and that the organization is moving towards its strategic goals.
