What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Localization Team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of Mozilla's localization projects. You will work on Pontoon, our Django-based Translation Management System, ensuring it meets the needs of our global community of volunteer localizers. Your role will involve engaging with the development of internationalization features that enhance the user experience across Mozilla products, including Firefox.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in the localization process. This includes optimizing workflows, enhancing tools, and ensuring that localization efforts align with Mozilla's mission. You will also participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

Your contributions will directly impact how users interact with Mozilla products, making the internet more accessible and enjoyable for everyone. What we offer

Mozilla offers a competitive salary range for this position, with salaries for Tier 1 locations starting at $104,000 CAD and going up to $139,000 CAD. For Tier 2 locations, the range is $94,000 CAD to $126,000 CAD. We provide a flexible remote work environment, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life effectively.
