N26 is hiring a Senior Reporting Data Analyst to support the French Regulatory Reporting team by developing and optimizing data models and pipelines. You'll work with SQL and ensure high-quality data for regulatory submissions.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with data, and you are fluent in both English and French. Your advanced knowledge of SQL is a must, with a preference for Postgres or Redshift, and you love working with data, becoming creative when analyzing it. You are an independent problem solver who owns the process from beginning to end, yet you know when to ask for help. You are curious, responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.

You have a knack for building and automating data models, conducting data quality investigations, and defining processes that deliver crucial data to stakeholders. Your experience includes data profiling and finding the right data, as well as requesting missing data when necessary. You maintain your work well-documented, reproducible, and reliable, ensuring that it aligns seamlessly with regulatory requirements.

Desirable

Experience with regulatory reporting and accounting principles would be a plus, as well as familiarity with data warehousing concepts. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the French Regulatory Reporting team by developing, maintaining, and optimizing the data models, pipelines, and scripts used for French regulatory submissions. You will ensure high-quality data and reliable transformations, aligning the data with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include building and automating data models, conducting data quality investigations, and defining processes that deliver crucial data to internal and external stakeholders.

You will work closely with the French Regulatory Reporting team, who are experts in regulatory reports, to match regulatory requirements to the data residing in our data warehouse. Your role will involve automating as much as possible to enhance efficiency and accuracy. You will also be responsible for maintaining thorough documentation of your work, ensuring that it is reproducible and reliable.
