Who you are
You have significant experience in network security governance, particularly in firewall management, and understand the complexities of compliance with regulations such as DORA and BaFin. Your background includes working as a control owner and subject matter expert, ensuring that security practices align with internal policies and industry standards. You are fluent in German, which is essential for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders. You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to assess the effectiveness of technical controls and drive continuous improvement in security measures. You are proactive in identifying risks and challenges, and you thrive in environments where you can influence security governance positively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define, maintain, and enhance governance controls for firewall management, ensuring they meet internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will conduct second line reviews of firewall configurations and rule changes, assessing their compliance and effectiveness in risk reduction. Your responsibilities will include challenging and guiding first line teams on their technical controls, overseeing key control testing activities, and supporting internal and external audits. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the bank's perimeter security remains compliant and resilient against evolving cyber threats. Additionally, you will document your findings and recommendations, contributing to the overall improvement of the bank's security posture.
