Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in risk management, with at least 5 years of experience in a financial institution. Your expertise includes developing and implementing risk measurement methodologies, particularly for Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) and Credit Spread Risk in the Banking Book (CSRBB). You are well-versed in regulatory requirements such as MaRisk and EBA Guidelines, ensuring compliance in all your projects.

You possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to conduct thorough data analysis and model development. Your ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders is crucial, as you will be leading initiatives that require cross-functional cooperation. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of pricing and valuation models for interest rate derivatives, including centrally cleared derivatives and swaptions.

Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to convey complex risk concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to shaping the future of risk management at N26. What you'll do

In this role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of advanced risk measurement methodologies specifically for IRRBB and CSRBB. You will ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, leading the design and monitoring of pricing and valuation models for interest rate derivatives. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining the architectural design of risk limits for IRRBB and associated derivatives.

You will collaborate closely with the ICAAP Methodology & Analytics team, supporting model development and data analysis for risk controlling. Your insights will play a critical role in assessing, controlling, and reporting N26’s risks. You will also be responsible for ensuring effective collaboration across various teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
