Overview

Trading212 is hiring a Risk Manager to ensure the organization's risk management framework aligns with its strategy and appetite. You'll conduct risk assessments and provide training across the firm. This role requires a strong understanding of risk management principles.

Who you are

You have a solid understanding of risk management principles and frameworks, ensuring that the organization's approach to risk aligns with its overall strategy and appetite. You are skilled in conducting Risk and Control Self-Assessments, preparing evidence of control framework adherence for senior management and the Board. Your ability to provide education and training to the firm on risk responsibilities is crucial in fostering a culture of compliance and awareness.

You demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of liquidity risk management and stress testing, which allows you to provide insightful overviews and challenges regarding the trading risks the firm is exposed to. Your analytical skills enable you to report and track organizational Key Risk and Performance Indicators (KRIs/KPIs), evaluating risk management performance, strategy, processes, and controls effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will ensure that the organization's approach to risk is aligned with its Risk Management Framework, Risk Strategy, and Risk Appetite. You will conduct Risk and Control Self-Assessments and prepare evidence of control framework adherence for senior management and the Board. Additionally, you will provide education and training to the rest of the firm on their responsibilities to ensure adherence to risk requirements.

You will oversee and challenge risk event and incident management from initial reporting through to remediation and closure, demonstrating your understanding of liquidity risk management and stress testing. You will provide an overview and challenge of the trading risk to which the firm is exposed, ensuring that risks are identified early in the company's new product approval process with appropriate mitigation strategies applied.

Your role will also involve reporting and tracking organizational Key Risk and Performance Indicators (KRIs/KPIs) for evaluating risk management performance, strategy, processes, and controls. You will promote the view that risk management is a universal responsibility and act as a risk champion across the organization, fostering a culture of excellence and high velocity.
