Who you are

You have 2-3 years of experience in Cash Applications or related accounts receivable roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of the accounts receivable cycle. Your analytical skills enable you to resolve discrepancies effectively, and you have a keen attention to detail that ensures accuracy in payment applications.

You possess proficiency with financial tools and platforms such as QuickBooks Online, SaaSAnt, and Excel, which you use to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Your communication skills in English are excellent, allowing you to collaborate effectively with team members and serve as a primary point of contact for AR-related matters.

You are proactive and autonomous, thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Your leadership qualities shine through as you help train new team members and assist in updating standard operating procedures. You are adaptable and ready to tackle challenges as they arise.

Desirable

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is preferred, which complements your practical experience in the field. Familiarity with Dropbox and other financial tools can further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Cash Application Associate, you will accurately and timely apply customer payments through various methods including EFT, checks, and ACH. You will perform regular account reconciliations between the accounting system and internal platforms, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for correctly.

Your role involves investigating and resolving discrepancies related to payments, invoices, or misapplied funds, acting as the first level of review before escalating issues to the Team Lead. You will document procedures and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance within the accounts receivable process.

In collaboration with the Accounts Receivable team, you will support month-end close processes and assist with internal or external audits as needed. Your contributions will help maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure smooth operations within the finance department.
