You have extensive experience in payroll operations, ideally in a global context — you've successfully managed payroll functions across multiple countries and understand the complexities involved in ensuring compliance and accuracy. Your leadership skills are top-notch, allowing you to build and mature payroll systems that are reliable and scalable. You are data-driven and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every employee is paid accurately and on time. You thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively communicate with various stakeholders to drive payroll maturity.
Desirable
Experience with payroll software and systems is a plus — you understand the importance of technology in streamlining payroll processes. Familiarity with compliance regulations in different countries will help you navigate the complexities of global payroll. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and are not afraid to implement changes that enhance operational efficiency.
What you'll do
As the Head of Global Payroll Operations, you will own the payroll execution across all countries and vendor models — your primary goal is to ensure zero missed payroll runs and consistently high accuracy. You will assess the current payroll maturity by country and vendor, defining a multi-year roadmap with measurable milestones to enhance the payroll function. Designing and enforcing global payroll operating standards will be a key responsibility, including establishing calendars, readiness gates, controls, evidence packs, and playbooks. You will collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other operational functions.
