What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a talented team of senior engineers within the Cloud Networking group of the Network Platform organization. You will be responsible for designing the cloud network architecture and topology, ensuring that it meets the diverse needs of Netflix's streaming and gaming services. Your leadership will guide the team in building network capabilities that provide leverage across various use cases, enhancing the overall user experience.

You will oversee the development of Layer 2 to Layer 7 networking solutions, focusing on scalability and secure traffic management throughout the Netflix ecosystem. Your role will involve abstracting AWS primitives and addressing the complexities of resiliency, security, routing, and insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive co-innovation and push the boundaries of cloud networking technology.

As an Engineering Manager, you will conduct regular one-on-ones with team members, providing mentorship and support for their professional development. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging your team to experiment with new ideas and technologies. You will also be involved in hiring and building a diverse team that reflects Netflix's commitment to inclusion.
