You have 5+ years of experience in engineering management, particularly in infrastructure services, where you've successfully led teams in building and maintaining complex systems. Your background includes a strong understanding of Linux and FreeBSD environments, and you are well-versed in CI/CD practices that enhance software delivery and operational efficiency.

You possess a deep technical knowledge of platform security and load testing methodologies, enabling you to ensure that systems are not only functional but also secure and resilient. What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a talented team responsible for developing and operating the CI/CD pipelines that support Netflix's edge platforms. You will oversee the automated validation processes and load testing initiatives, ensuring that all systems are efficient and reliable. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing infrastructure.

You will also be responsible for shaping the technical direction of the team, making strategic decisions that align with Netflix's mission to deliver high-quality streaming services. This includes managing the lifecycle of the operating systems that run on edge cache servers, focusing on kernel, OS, firmware/BMC, and BIOS layers.
