Your background includes a deep understanding of the JVM ecosystem, and you are passionate about optimizing performance and configuration needs for JVM applications. You have experience managing application build processes using tools like Gradle and Nebula, and you are familiar with library SDLC and JDK ownership.

You are a strong communicator who can coordinate outreach with the OpenJDK community, ensuring that Netflix's JVM ecosystem aligns with industry standards and best practices. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and guiding the vision for the JVM Ecosystem Team at Netflix. You will manage the application build process, focusing on optimizing JVM performance and configuration needs across various user profiles. Your leadership will be crucial in making decisions around default JVM settings for Netflix applications and services.

You will oversee build artifact management and ensure that the team is equipped with the necessary tools and insights for JVM applications. Your role will involve collaborating with other teams to tailor the technology to meet both business and developer needs, enhancing the overall development experience for JVM developers at Netflix.

You will also engage with the OpenJDK community, fostering relationships that can benefit Netflix's JVM ecosystem. Your leadership will help drive the future vision of JVM usage across Netflix’s microservice fleet, making a significant impact on the company's technology landscape.
