What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the team responsible for Hawkins Professional, overseeing the development and maintenance of the design system that supports over 700 applications. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure that the system meets the needs of various users, from content creators to finance teams. Your responsibilities will include setting the strategic direction for the design system, managing team performance, and driving initiatives that enhance developer productivity.

You will work closely with other engineering managers to align on best practices and share insights that can improve the overall efficiency of the organization. You will also be involved in hiring and mentoring new team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. As part of the leadership team, you will contribute to the broader goals of Netflix's Platform organization, ensuring that the tools and systems you oversee are scalable and effective.
