Experience with Elasticsearch and Docker is a plus, as these tools are integral to our detection frameworks. What you'll do

As a Security Software Engineer on the Detection Engineering Team, you will be responsible for maturing and expanding our existing detection frameworks. This involves leveraging machine learning capabilities to create and improve detections that run on our platforms. You will analyze high-risk attack paths and work with various teams to develop focused detections that minimize risks to Netflix. Your role will require you to proactively surface malicious or anomalous behavior, identifying attacker presence or activity effectively. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that our detection strategies align with business needs and provide substantial value.

You will also be involved in creating compensating detective controls to shorten the time to discovery of potential threats. Your contributions will directly impact Netflix's security posture, helping to protect our systems and data from malicious actors.
