What you'll do

As the Performance Technical Director, you will lead the technical direction and evolution of the Performance Department. You will provide guidance and support for all technology used within the department, ensuring that it meets the visual requirements of productions. Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality code that enhances artist workflows. You will track and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with your team to implement solutions that improve efficiency and quality.

You will also advise Lead TDs and Supervising TDs on the future technical direction of key projects, ensuring that the team is equipped with the best tools and technologies available. Your contributions will directly impact the success of animated productions, helping to create bold and immersive films that resonate with audiences worldwide. You will work closely with R&D teams to explore new technologies and techniques that can elevate the quality of animation at Netflix.
