What you'll do

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Neuralink, you will be responsible for designing and building versatile benchtop test setups that will evaluate next-generation brain-computer interface (BCI) implants. You will collaborate closely with the Next Gen team to define engineering requirements and implement best practices for scalable, reusable test hardware. Your role will involve creating custom fixtures and integrating electrical and mechanical components to facilitate rapid algorithm iteration and system-level validation. You will participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative solutions and contribute to the overall design and testing strategy of the BCI implants. You will also document your designs and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain high standards of engineering practice.
