Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field, along with 4+ years of experience in frontend development. Your in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML allows you to create engaging user interfaces that meet high standards of quality and performance. As a senior engineer, you are not only skilled in coding but also enjoy mentoring junior engineers and guiding them through technical challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with software architects to define design specifications and ensure that implementations align with business requirements.
Desirable
Experience with additional frontend frameworks or libraries is a plus, as is familiarity with performance optimization techniques for web applications. You are comfortable translating designs and wireframes into functional code and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the final product is both visually appealing and user-friendly.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of new user-facing features using React.js, ensuring that your code is well-tested and meets the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for building reusable components and front-end libraries that can be utilized in future projects, optimizing components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers. You will engage in design discussions and technology reviews, contributing your insights to improve the overall development process. Mentoring junior engineers will be a key part of your role, as you help them grow their skills and navigate technical challenges. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that the final product aligns with user needs and company goals.
