Who you are

You have at least 3+ years of experience in manual testing, demonstrating a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing life cycle. Your expertise in Python and GUI testing, along with your experience using Selenium, allows you to effectively define and execute test suites that ensure the quality of web applications and APIs.

Your background includes CI/CD experience with tools like Jenkins and Artifactory, which you leverage to monitor daily regression builds and maintain code quality. You possess strong scripting skills in relational databases such as MS-SQL and Oracle, enabling you to conduct thorough testing and validation of database interactions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are part of your toolkit, allowing you to collaborate effectively with developers, product owners, customer support, and technical writers. You are familiar with different web applications and have a keen eye for usability and functional testing.

Desirable

While not required, experience in RESTful API and web services testing, as well as familiarity with API automation tools, would be advantageous. Additionally, knowledge of Java and its integration with Selenium would further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior QA Engineer at NICE, you will define and implement comprehensive manual test plans that cover functional, regression, usability, and UI tests for our web applications and APIs. You will closely monitor daily regression builds to ensure that the quality of code is consistently maintained, collaborating with a global team to deliver high-quality releases.

You will work hand-in-hand with developers and product owners to identify testing requirements and ensure that all aspects of the software meet the highest standards. Your role will involve testing patches and service packs for clients, ensuring that all updates are thoroughly vetted before deployment.

In this position, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior QA engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of our platform in helping financial institutions combat financial crime.
