Backend Engineer

Who you are

You are a skilled Java Backend Developer with experience in building robust applications using Java 8 and 11. Your expertise in Spring Boot allows you to create scalable and efficient backend services that meet the needs of modern digital commerce. You have a strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and are familiar with various messaging systems such as Kafka, IBM MQ, and RabbitMQ.

You possess advanced English skills, enabling you to communicate effectively in a global team environment. Your experience with tools like Gradle for build automation and your knowledge of databases such as Oracle and DB2 make you a valuable asset to any development team. You are comfortable working in a remote setting and are based in either Chile or Colombia.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend solutions that drive business growth for leading Fortune 500 brands. You will leverage your skills in Java and Spring Boot to develop APIs and services that enhance user experiences across digital and physical channels. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems, utilizing tools like Splunk for monitoring and performance analysis.
