You are a seasoned legal professional with a strong background in corporate governance and compliance — you have a proven track record of managing legal matters for global organizations and navigating complex regulatory environments. Your experience includes overseeing board meetings, ensuring compliance with governance requirements, and managing corporate entities across multiple jurisdictions.
You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams — you thrive in environments where you can influence strategic decisions and contribute to innovative legal solutions. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess risks and provide sound legal advice that aligns with business objectives.
You are adaptable and quick to learn, able to keep pace with the evolving landscape of financial technology and regulatory frameworks — your proactive approach enables you to identify potential legal challenges before they arise, ensuring that the organization remains compliant and well-prepared.

What you'll do
In this role, you will lead corporate governance matters for Nium’s global subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices — you will prepare and coordinate board meetings, manage approvals, and oversee the governance framework for the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting Nium's parent company governance as well.
You will play a key role in strategic legal projects, including mergers and acquisitions, fundraising efforts, and equity management — your contributions will help shape the legal landscape of Nium as it continues to expand its global footprint. You will collaborate closely with the Global Head of Corporate and Commercial Legal, providing insights and recommendations that drive the company's legal strategy.
You will also engage with various stakeholders, including senior management and external partners, to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business decisions — your ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner will be essential in this collaborative environment.
