Overview

Nominal is hiring a Government Contracts Strategist to lead U.S. Government contracting strategies and partnerships. You'll design contracting pathways and scalable strategies while shaping SaaS pricing approaches. This role requires experience in government acquisitions and the commercial SaaS ecosystem.

Who you are

You have a strong background in government contracting and business development, with a focus on U.S. Government contracts and large prime partnerships. Your experience includes designing contracting strategies that align with regulatory requirements while driving business growth. You understand the complexities of government acquisitions and have operated within the commercial SaaS or government-tech ecosystem, allowing you to deliver immediate value in this high-impact role.

You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work effectively at the intersection of Legal, Security, and Business Development. Your ability to translate customer interest into acquisition-ready structures demonstrates your strategic mindset and your capacity to shape the future of government contracting.

Desirable

Experience with developing scalable contracting strategies such as CSOs, OTAs, IDIQs, and GSA schedules is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory realities like FAR/DFARS will enhance your ability to balance compliance with commercial fundamentals. You are adept at building repeatable playbooks for government contracting and industrial security, which will contribute to institutional knowledge at Nominal.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the U.S. Government contracting architecture from end-to-end. This includes translating early customer interest into actionable contracting structures and developing scalable strategies that drive growth. You will shape SaaS pricing approaches that align with regulatory requirements while ensuring they are commercially viable.

Your responsibilities will also include codifying institutional knowledge by creating playbooks for U.S. Government contracting and structuring commercial partnerships that strategically advance Nominal’s growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that contracting strategies are effectively executed and aligned with business objectives.
