You are an entrepreneurial individual with a strong sense of ownership, capable of managing complex operational tasks with minimal oversight. Your ability to juggle multiple workstreams while maintaining a high standard for quality and risk management sets you apart. You are comfortable navigating unfamiliar domains, such as immigration law and state-level employer compliance, and you are eager to learn quickly to adapt to the evolving needs of the company.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the operational infrastructure that supports Northslope's growth to over 200 employees. This includes coordinating visa sponsorship, ensuring state compliance, and reviewing NDAs. You will act as the point person for state agency requests and correspondence, collaborating closely with legal teams on various operational matters. Your role will also involve coordinating GDPR and other regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring that the company meets its obligations across US, UK, and Canadian jurisdictions. Additionally, you will manage the physical office footprint, including lease negotiations and space planning for future expansions. Your entrepreneurial spirit will drive you to continuously improve processes and systems, making them more efficient and effective for the organization.
