Overview
Northslope Technologies Inc. is hiring a People Operations team member to manage the employee lifecycle and build effective people systems. This role requires 3+ years of operations experience, ideally in a high-growth startup environment.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 3+ years of operations experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or fast-paced company — you've owned meaningful operations projects and have battle scars from scaling through rapid growth. You possess an entrepreneurial ownership mindset and don't need detailed instructions or constant oversight to get things done. You are comfortable navigating complex employee questions and are adept at managing multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for execution and employee experience. Your ability to learn quickly is essential, especially when it comes to international benefits administration for the UK and Canada. You thrive in environments where you can take complete ownership of problems from start to finish, constantly iterating to improve how the organization supports its people.
What you'll do
As the first People Operations team member at Northslope, you'll be responsible for improving and managing the entire employee lifecycle, from offer letter to offboarding. This isn't a role where you implement cookie-cutter HR playbooks; instead, you'll build and iterate on people systems that align with the team's culture and growth trajectory. Your day-to-day tasks will include benefits administration, equity tracking, compliance coordination, and new hire onboarding. You'll serve as the go-to person for employees navigating questions about their equity, benefits, or workplace policies. Collaborating with brokers, payroll providers, and legal counsel will be essential to ensure that the team is well-supported across multiple countries and jurisdictions. You will need to juggle multiple workstreams while maintaining a high standard of execution and employee experience.
What we offer
At Northslope Technologies, we are committed to creating and living a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our work. We believe that a diverse team leads to better products and a more enjoyable workplace. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. Join us in building a supportive and innovative environment as we grow to over 200 employees in the coming year.
