What you'll do

As a Senior ML Research Scientist at Nuro, you will play a pivotal role in defining the Perception architecture for the Nuro Driver. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and refine the Perception Foundation Encoder, which is crucial for processing raw sensor data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with engineers and researchers to create training techniques that enhance the encoder's performance and reliability.

You will lead efforts in object detection and tracking, ensuring that the system can accurately interpret its surroundings in real-time. Your work will directly impact the safety and efficiency of autonomous vehicles, making your contributions vital to the company's mission. You will also engage in research activities that push the boundaries of current technologies, exploring new methodologies and frameworks to improve perception capabilities.
