Who you are
You have a strong background in machine learning and systems engineering, with experience in building scalable solutions that enhance autonomy performance. Your expertise in robotics allows you to tackle complex data challenges, ensuring that models learn from diverse and high-quality datasets. You are comfortable working with various sensor modalities and have a deep understanding of data curation and annotation processes.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can architect hybrid systems that combine deep learning with classical algorithms. Your experience includes optimizing ML-powered validation processes and quantifying the fidelity of synthetic data. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with autonomy engineers to turn raw sensor streams into actionable training priorities.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and advance systems that leverage VLMs to curate geographically diverse datasets, ensuring they match real-world driving distributions. You will develop high-fidelity synthetic data frameworks across different sensor modalities, optimizing the validation of data quality and model readiness. Your work will directly impact how autonomous systems understand rare scenarios and adapt to various global geographies.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure and autonomy engineers, to build state-of-the-art solutions for data discovery, auto-labeling, and synthetic generation. Your contributions will help solve autonomy's hardest data challenges through applied ML and systems rigor, ultimately enhancing the performance and safety of autonomous systems.
