You have a proven track record in safety governance and standards, ideally within the autonomous vehicle or technology sectors. Your experience includes developing and implementing safety management systems that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You possess strong leadership skills, having managed cross-functional teams and collaborated with various stakeholders to drive safety initiatives. You are adept at communicating complex safety concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and understanding across the organization. Your strategic mindset allows you to set a vision for safety that aligns with the company's goals while fostering a culture of safety and trust. You are committed to continuous improvement and staying updated on the latest safety regulations and technologies in the autonomous vehicle space.
Desirable
Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry or related fields is a plus. Familiarity with safety case development and risk assessment methodologies will enhance your candidacy. You may also have a background in legal compliance or regulatory affairs, which will be beneficial in navigating the complex landscape of safety governance.
What you'll do
As the Safety Governance & Standards Lead at Nuro, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for safety standards across the organization.
