Who you are

You are an aspiring engineer with a strong interest in systems engineering and automation. You have experience or coursework in Python and are eager to apply your skills in a real-world setting. You understand the importance of testing in the software development lifecycle and are motivated to contribute to improving testing processes. You thrive in collaborative environments and are excited to work alongside experienced engineers to learn and grow.

Desirable

Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools is a plus, as is any experience with automated testing frameworks. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, which will help you identify areas for improvement in testing workflows. A background in robotics or self-driving technology would be beneficial but is not required.

What you'll do

As a Systems Test Engineering Intern, you will support the team responsible for verification and validation processes. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing automated test pipelines that streamline testing for systems engineers. You will help drive standardization across testing modalities by contributing to consistent triage workflows and shared best practices. Your work will involve hands-on technical tasks, including coding and testing, to ensure that the automated pipelines are efficient and reliable. You will also assist in improving the early detection of simulation failures during verification and validation execution, which is critical for the success of our self-driving technology.
