Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in building and terminating wiring harnesses for propulsion and avionics systems. Your experience includes working with both low- and high-voltage systems, and you are familiar with IPC-610/620 standards for PCB fabrication and assembly. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to generate clear build logs and discrepancy reports. Your proven track record includes supporting prototype aircraft or UAV flight-test programs, showcasing your ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building, routing, and terminating wiring harnesses for various aircraft systems. You will fabricate and populate PCBs, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your work will involve installing and calibrating flight-worthy instrumentation, such as strain gauges and thermocouples, and troubleshooting associated data acquisition software. You will collaborate closely with engineers from different disciplines to ensure the successful integration of electrical systems into the aircraft. Your contributions will be vital in advancing the development of innovative aircraft that aim to revolutionize air travel.
