Who you are

You have a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles, with experience in designing, evaluating, and improving electrical systems and subsystems. Your background includes executing battery test profiles and performance characterization, ensuring that you can support BMS hardware and software development effectively. You possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively in cross-functional engineering teams. Your ability to debug complex electrical issues methodically and independently sets you apart, and you thrive in fast-paced engineering environments with frequent design iterations. Proficiency with MS Office and CAD/EDA tools such as AutoCAD Electrical and Altium Designer is essential for your success in this role.

What you'll do

As an Electrical Engineer [Propulsion] at Odys Aviation, you will apply core electrical engineering principles to design and enhance electrical systems for our innovative aircraft. You will execute battery test profiles and engage in performance characterization and validation activities, ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your role will involve supporting the development of battery management system (BMS) hardware and software, focusing on protection and safety functions.
