You are a seasoned finance leader with a proven track record in managing finance functions, particularly in venture-backed companies. With at least 5 years of experience in finance operations, you have a deep understanding of financial modeling and FP&A processes. You thrive in dynamic environments and have a hands-on approach to building finance teams that can scale effectively post-Series B.

Your experience includes working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams, ensuring that financial strategies align with overall business objectives. You possess strong analytical skills and are adept at implementing finance systems, including ERP and accounting tools, to enhance reporting infrastructure.

You have a background in scaling production environments and cost-driven businesses, which allows you to provide valuable insights into financial performance and operational efficiency. Your ability to manage diligence processes and support fundraising efforts is a key asset in this role.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with the unique financial challenges these industries face. You are comfortable navigating complex financial landscapes and can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and build Odys Aviation's finance function, leading the day-to-day finance operations and ensuring that the company is well-prepared for its upcoming Series B funding round. You will be responsible for developing financial models that support strategic decision-making and operational planning.

You will collaborate closely with various departments, including engineering and operations, to align financial strategies with business goals. Your role will involve overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

As a hands-on leader, you will mentor and develop your finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. You will also play a critical role in implementing finance systems that streamline operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
