Who you are

You are a forward-thinking Back-End Developer with a passion for creating scalable and elegant software solutions. You have experience working with serverless architectures, particularly using AWS and DynamoDB, and you understand the importance of building performant systems that enhance user experience. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with co-founders and development teams to define product visions and development requirements. Your expertise in JavaScript and Angular allows you to contribute effectively to both backend and frontend integrations, particularly with platforms like Shopify.

You have a strong understanding of REST APIs and how they integrate with e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences. You are motivated to take ownership of backend systems, participating in software architecture and product planning sessions to drive innovation. Your ability to rapidly iterate on development while improving existing systems is key to your success in this role. You are eager to learn and grow, attending tech events and engaging in ongoing training to enhance your skills.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with the Co-Founder and CTO to define the product vision and development requirements for the Okendo platform. You will take ownership of the backend, ensuring that the software is scalable, elegant, and performant. You will participate in software architecture discussions and product planning sessions, contributing your insights and expertise to shape the direction of the product. Your responsibilities will include integrating with the development team to build an exceptional user experience across the platform, leveraging your knowledge of AWS and serverless architecture.

You will also be involved in rapidly iterating new development while improving current systems, ensuring that the platform remains competitive and innovative in the fast-paced e-commerce landscape. Your work will directly impact the user experience for high-performance Shopify retailers, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a knowledgeable and experienced team.
