You have a solid foundation in software development principles and a proven ability to write clean, efficient code. With experience in both frontend and backend technologies, you are comfortable working with frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.js. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements. You possess strong problem-solving skills and are adept at testing and deploying software while adhering to established coding standards and best practices.

You have experience with serverless architectures and are familiar with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB. Your understanding of database management and data storage solutions enables you to optimize performance and ensure reliability in your applications. You are passionate about engineering excellence and have a product-driven mindset, always looking for ways to improve the user experience and drive business outcomes.

Desirable

Experience with Shopify integrations is a plus, as is familiarity with data reporting tools like Redshift and OpenSearch. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, and you appreciate the importance of agility in a fast-paced environment. You understand the value of cultivating brand advocacy and maximizing customer lifetime value through effective software solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work with the Product Engineering team to build out the Okendo platform, focusing on engineering excellence and a product-driven mindset. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements. Your responsibilities will include problem-solving, testing, and deploying software while adhering to established coding standards and best practices. You will also be involved in optimizing the performance of applications and ensuring that they are scalable and maintainable.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of embeddable widgets and shopper-facing components using Vue.js, as well as merchant admin interfaces with Angular. Your work will directly impact the success of over 16,000 Shopify brands, helping them turn one-time shoppers into revenue-driving Superfans. You will be expected to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
