What you'll do

As the Category Manager for Marketing at Okta, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with the company's marketing objectives. You will lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the marketing team to understand their needs and ensure they have the necessary supplier support to succeed. You will also be responsible for standardizing procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

You will analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in sourcing practices. Your insights will help shape the strategic direction of the marketing procurement function. You will report to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing - Marketing and work in a hybrid capacity, spending two days a week in the Bellevue office while also having the flexibility to work remotely.
