Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs that solve complex problems. You are proficient in Figma and have a solid understanding of design systems and user experience principles. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to bring ideas to life. You are a lifelong learner, eager to embrace new challenges and technologies in the evolving landscape of identity and security.
You have experience mentoring junior designers, helping them grow their skills and confidence in their design work. You understand the importance of feedback and iteration in the design process, and you actively seek input from your peers to refine your ideas. You are comfortable working in a distributed team environment, utilizing async tools to maintain communication and collaboration across time zones.
Desirable
Experience with identity and security products is a plus, as is familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI. You have a keen interest in exploring new design trends and methodologies, and you are always looking for ways to innovate and improve the user experience. What you'll do
As a Staff Product Designer at Okta, you will join the Emerging Products team, focusing on building and scaling new identity and security capabilities. You will take ownership of design projects from concept to execution, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of your work.
