Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or infrastructure management, with a proven track record of leading technical teams and initiatives. Your background includes deep expertise in cloud services, particularly AWS, and you understand the intricacies of building and maintaining high-availability systems. You are passionate about automation and have experience implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation, encouraging team members to contribute their unique perspectives and skills. You thrive in environments that challenge you to grow and adapt, and you are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Desirable
Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration is a plus, as is familiarity with observability tools and practices. You have a strong understanding of networking principles and edge computing, which will help you lead initiatives that enhance service reliability and performance. A background in DevOps transformation and microservices architecture will also be beneficial as you guide your teams through their journeys.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Infrastructure Platform and Shared Services organization, overseeing multiple teams focused on critical areas such as Edge networking, Kubernetes platform management, and automation tooling. You will be responsible for driving the DevOps transformation within the organization, collaborating closely with architects and product engineering teams to develop next-generation infrastructure capabilities. Your leadership will ensure that the services hosted on AWS maintain high throughput and availability, meeting the demands of millions of users daily. You will implement best practices for incident management and capacity planning, ensuring that your teams are equipped to handle challenges effectively. Additionally, you will mentor and develop your teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
