You have over 5 years of experience in audit management, particularly in financial crimes, and possess a deep understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations. Your background includes developing and implementing audit plans that align with organizational strategies and regulatory expectations. You are skilled in assessing financial crime risks and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your leadership abilities enable you to guide teams effectively while fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.

You are detail-oriented and analytical, with a proven track record of identifying areas for improvement in compliance frameworks. You understand the complexities of financial crime-related activities and can navigate regulatory landscapes with ease. Your communication skills allow you to articulate audit findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Desirable

Experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with blockchain technology and its implications for financial crime. You may also have certifications related to compliance or auditing, which further enhance your qualifications for this role.

What you'll do

As the Senior Audit Manager, FinCrime, you will lead the internal audit function focused on financial crimes, ensuring that the organization's risk management and compliance frameworks are robust and effective. You will develop and implement the annual audit plan, aligning it with the organization's strategic objectives. Your role will involve conducting audits, assessing compliance with AML and CTF regulations, and identifying potential areas of risk within the organization.

You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that financial crime risk management practices are integrated into the organization's operations. This includes providing guidance on best practices for fraud prevention and sanctions compliance. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to senior management and the board.

In addition, you will mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. You will stay informed about regulatory changes and industry trends, ensuring that the organization remains compliant and proactive in its approach to financial crime risk management.
