Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in finance with at least 5 years of experience in managing intercompany transactions and accounting processes. Your expertise includes leading month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial reporting. You are detail-oriented and possess a deep understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS standards, which you apply to maintain compliance in all financial activities. Your bilingual proficiency in Mandarin allows you to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, enhancing collaboration across the organization.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at identifying and driving system and process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial operations. Your experience includes managing intercompany agreements, billing, and settlements, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with internal policies. You are proactive in monitoring compliance with intercompany transfer pricing policies and procedures, and you have a track record of supporting external audits and tax filings related to intercompany transactions.
Desirable
Experience in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry is a plus, as it provides you with a unique perspective on the financial landscape. Familiarity with accounting software and financial management tools will enhance your ability to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy. You are a team player who enjoys partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, and other internal stakeholders to align on intercompany matters and contribute to special projects that drive the company's financial success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the month-end close activities related to intercompany transactions and balances, ensuring that all journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules are completed accurately and on time. You will be responsible for reconciling intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness, and you will manage intercompany agreements, billing, settlements, and related documentation. Your role will involve monitoring compliance with intercompany transfer pricing policies and procedures, ensuring that all transactions adhere to regulatory requirements.
You will support external audits and tax filings related to intercompany transactions, providing necessary documentation and insights to auditors and tax professionals. Additionally, you will maintain and continuously enhance intercompany accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP and/or IFRS. Your ability to identify and drive system and process improvements will be crucial in optimizing efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
You will partner cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, and other internal stakeholders to align on intercompany matters, contributing to special projects that enhance the overall financial strategy of OKX. Your insights and expertise will help shape the company's approach to intercompany transactions, ensuring that all processes are streamlined and effective.
