Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in data science, particularly in machine learning and forecasting β you've built and deployed models that inform critical business decisions and understand the nuances of economic modeling. Your technical expertise is complemented by strong product intuition and business acumen, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
You possess a deep understanding of forecasting methodologies and have experience in developing scalable systems β your work has directly influenced user growth, revenue, and operational efficiency in previous roles. You are proficient in Python and have a solid grasp of data manipulation and analysis techniques.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with product managers, engineers, and finance leaders β your ability to communicate complex insights clearly helps drive strategic initiatives. You are passionate about using data to solve real-world problems and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Desirable
Experience with cloud platforms and tools for data science, such as AWS or GCP, is a plus β familiarity with data visualization tools can enhance your ability to present insights effectively. A background in finance or economics can also be beneficial, as it aligns with the strategic goals of the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development of forecasting systems that predict key business metrics such as daily active users, revenue, and profitability β your models will be foundational to planning and operational efficiency at OpenAI.
