Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in equity administration, with experience managing global equity programs and ensuring compliance across various operational processes. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of reliable data and reporting in equity management. Your ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Legal, Finance, and Payroll is essential, as you will be the bridge between these departments to uphold compliance requirements. You are hands-on and enjoy improving operational processes to scale effectively as the company grows.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex equity concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Your experience includes executing end-to-end employee equity administration, managing timelines, and producing audit-ready equity reporting. You are proactive in identifying issues and resolving them efficiently, ensuring that equity operations are accurate and timely.
What you'll do
In this role, you will execute the administration of employee equity programs, handling key lifecycle events such as new grants, vesting, and option exercises. You will manage recurring operational cycles, ensuring that all processes are followed meticulously and that all stakeholders are informed and engaged. Your responsibilities will include producing detailed equity reports that meet compliance and accounting needs, ensuring that the data is reliable and accessible.
You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Legal, Equity Programs, Compensation, Tax, Payroll, and Finance, to ensure that equity operations are employee-friendly and compliant with all regulations. As the Manager of Global Equity Administration, you will help shape the future of equity programs at OpenAI, contributing to the overall strategy and execution of these initiatives. You will also be involved in continuous improvement efforts, identifying areas for enhancement in the equity administration process to support the company's growth.
