You understand the importance of data pipelines and have experience in building and maintaining them — centralizing and storing security-relevant data from diverse sources is second nature to you. Your strong problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges in security observability.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop scalable software systems that facilitate security observability across OpenAI's infrastructure. You will build and maintain data pipelines that centralize and store security-relevant data from various sources, enhancing the overall security posture of the organization. Collaborating closely with the Detection & Response (D&R) and other security teams, you will work to reduce the company’s security risk through innovative software solutions.

You will contribute to the continuous improvement of the security observability infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of the organization. Your role will involve deploying and maintaining robust software solutions that support security and detection capabilities, allowing OpenAI to stay ahead of potential threats. You will also engage in compliance efforts, ensuring that all software solutions adhere to necessary regulations and standards.
