What you'll do

In this role, you will design and develop scalable software systems that facilitate security observability across OpenAI's infrastructure. You will build and maintain data pipelines that centralize and store security-relevant data from diverse sources, ensuring that the systems are resilient and reliable. Collaborating closely with the Detection & Response (D&R) team and other security teams, you will work to reduce the company's security risk and enhance detection capabilities. Your contributions will directly impact the security posture of OpenAI, enabling the organization to operate safely and effectively in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. You will also engage in continuous improvement efforts, proactively identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities in the security infrastructure.
