Who you are
You have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on security, having built systems that protect sensitive data and facilitate safe transactions. Your experience includes working with languages such as Python, Go, and Ruby, and you are familiar with Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform. You understand the importance of threat modeling and risk management in complex business operations, and you are passionate about mentoring others in security and software engineering.
You are comfortable designing workflows and CI/CD pipelines that enable both engineers and non-engineers to build and ship safely. Your expertise in corporate platforms like Okta and AWS allows you to create secure environments that enhance operational efficiency. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement security measures that do not hinder engineering velocity.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer on the Security Engineering team at Opendoor, you will build intelligent systems that harden infrastructure and protect sensitive data.
