What you'll do

As a Senior Product Designer at OpenGov, you will lead the design efforts for our suite of products aimed at local and state governments. Your role will involve applying design thinking to create user-centered solutions that enhance the functionality and usability of our platform. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with user needs and business objectives.

You will be responsible for conducting user research, defining user personas, and creating wireframes and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts. Your ability to iterate on designs based on user feedback will be crucial in refining our products to meet the evolving needs of our users.

In addition to your design responsibilities, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of innovation within the design team. You will mentor junior designers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles.
