OpenGov is seeking a Senior Director of Product Operations to build and manage the operational backbone of Product Management and Design. This role focuses on accelerating product velocity and operationalizing AI across the product lifecycle.
Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in product operations, ideally in a technology-driven environment, where you've successfully built and managed operational frameworks that enhance product management and design processes. Your leadership style is hands-on, and you thrive in roles that require both strategic oversight and tactical execution. You understand the importance of data and automation in driving product success and have a proven track record of improving product quality and adoption through effective operational practices.
You are well-versed in the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in product development. You have a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that product operations align with broader business goals. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be accountable for the operational backbone of Product Management and Design at OpenGov. You will lead initiatives aimed at accelerating product velocity, ensuring that releases are of high quality and meet customer needs. Your responsibilities will include implementing systems and tools that enhance collaboration and efficiency within the product teams. You will also focus on operationalizing AI across the product lifecycle, leveraging data and automation to drive better decision-making and outcomes.
You will work closely with the Chief Product Officer and other senior leaders to define the strategic direction for product operations. Your role will involve setting up rhythms and processes that foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product teams. You will be the directly responsible individual (DRI) for how Product works, ensuring that the tools and data used are reliable and effective.
