What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at OpenGov, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of new features and improvements within our Public Service Platform. You will architect and implement APIs and microservices that are critical to our operations, ensuring they are robust and scalable to handle over 100k daily users. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will also mentor junior engineers, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team. Your role will involve analyzing user feedback and performance metrics to drive improvements and optimize the user experience. You will participate in code reviews, ensuring that best practices are followed and that the codebase remains maintainable and efficient.
