Who you are
You have a strong background in finance, particularly in capital markets and treasury management. With at least 5 years of experience, you understand the intricacies of funding strategies and liquidity optimization. You are adept at managing relationships with external capital markets and have a proven track record in structuring and executing financial transactions. Your analytical skills enable you to monitor and report on funding facilities effectively, ensuring compliance with covenants and regulations. You thrive in a mission-driven environment and are passionate about empowering individuals through financial solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the reporting and covenant monitoring for existing funding facilities, ensuring that all obligations are met and reported accurately. You will analyze and optimize liquidity and capital planning strategies, working closely with various stakeholders to enhance funding strategies. Your responsibilities will include structuring and executing securitizations, warehouse financings, and whole loan sale transactions. You will also manage a broad array of external capital markets relationships, fostering strong partnerships that support Oportun's mission. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
