Overview

OPSWAT is seeking a Federal Sales Account Executive to drive growth across Federal agencies. You'll build and manage relationships while promoting OPSWAT's cybersecurity solutions. This role requires experience in federal sales and a strong understanding of cybersecurity.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in federal sales, ideally with experience in the cybersecurity sector. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various federal agencies is essential. You understand the unique challenges and requirements of federal clients and can effectively communicate how OPSWAT's solutions can meet their needs. You are results-driven and have a strong understanding of the federal procurement process, enabling you to navigate complex sales cycles successfully.

You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to articulate the value of OPSWAT's offerings clearly. You are comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership, and can tailor your messaging accordingly. Your analytical mindset helps you assess market trends and identify opportunities for growth within the federal sector.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and technical support. Your ability to work collaboratively ensures that you can effectively address client needs and drive successful outcomes. You are passionate about cybersecurity and understand its critical importance in protecting national security and critical infrastructure.

Desirable

Experience with Zero Trust architectures and familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community is a plus. You may have a background in IT or cybersecurity, which will enhance your ability to engage with clients and understand their technical requirements. A network of contacts within federal agencies can also be beneficial in accelerating your success in this role.

What you'll do

As a Federal Sales Account Executive at OPSWAT, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of our cybersecurity solutions across various federal agencies, including the Marine Corps, Navy, and Coast Guard. Your primary focus will be on building and managing relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their unique challenges, and positioning OPSWAT's offerings as the ideal solution to meet their needs.

You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand OPSWAT's presence within the federal market. This includes identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and leveraging your network to generate leads. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with federal clients and drive engagement.

Your role will also involve conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities of OPSWAT's solutions. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure that client requirements are met and that solutions are tailored to their specific needs. Additionally, you will provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions, helping to shape future offerings.

You will be expected to stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging threats in the cybersecurity landscape. This knowledge will enable you to position OPSWAT as a thought leader and trusted partner in the federal space. You will also participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote OPSWAT's solutions.
