Who you are

You have a strong background in data engineering and operations, with experience in maintaining and monitoring data pipelines. You understand the importance of data quality and consistency, ensuring that production data systems meet strict reliability and correctness expectations. You are comfortable working in a globally distributed team and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.

You possess technical expertise in configuring, launching, and maintaining robust data pipelines, specifically in ETL/ELT processes. Your experience includes working with large-scale batch and streaming data systems, and you are familiar with the operational standards required for critical data workflows. You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of data validation and monitoring techniques.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end reliability of critical production data pipelines, from ingestion through downstream consumption. You will configure and maintain data pipelines that are essential for research and trading, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve collaborating closely with data engineers and platform teams to enhance automation and observability across data platforms.

You will also focus on improving operational standards and practices, contributing to the evolution of how data platforms are managed at scale. This includes implementing monitoring solutions to ensure data quality and freshness, as well as addressing any issues that may arise in the data systems. Your work will directly impact trading and research workflows, making your contributions vital to the success of the organization.
