Site Reliability Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with experience in designing and implementing automated operational workflows to improve system reliability. You are skilled in building observability solutions using tools such as Datadog, delivering metrics, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards. You partner effectively with development teams to enhance application reliability and performance through SRE best practices.

You are proficient in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. Your expertise extends to engineering scalable solutions for production environments across both Linux and Windows systems. You are adept at automating infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.

You have experience supporting and enhancing the reliability of database platforms, including SQL Server and MongoDB, from an SRE perspective. You participate in incident response, driving root cause analysis and implementing long-term reliability improvements. You are familiar with defining and enforcing SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets in collaboration with application teams.

What you'll do

You will build and maintain observability solutions using Datadog, ensuring that metrics, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards are effectively delivered. Your collaboration with development teams will focus on improving application reliability, deployment safety, and performance through established SRE best practices.

You will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes. Your engineering skills will be applied to create scalable solutions for production environments across both Linux and Windows systems, enhancing overall system performance.
