What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Optiver Research Platform team, you will expand the platform's capabilities by building new features and improving performance across core services. You will collaborate with global business teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your role will involve designing and implementing a fully managed compute and data platform layer, ensuring it scales effectively and remains reliable.

You will be responsible for streamlining the orchestration of complex workflows, enabling researchers to execute large-scale simulations and model training efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact the speed at which insights are generated from market data, allowing Optiver to maintain its competitive edge. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
