You possess a strong understanding of distributed systems and have experience with job scheduling and cluster management. Your ability to explore and integrate cutting-edge technologies into existing workflows is a key asset, enabling you to enhance performance and derive better insights from complex data sets. What you'll do

In this role, you will expand the capabilities of the Optiver Research Platform by building features that enhance service orchestration and job scheduling. You will manage the full stack, from datacenter hardware to distributed research tooling, ensuring the fastest possible turnaround time for experiments. Your work will directly impact the efficiency of global research teams as they define and execute large-scale computational problems.

You will collaborate with various business teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. This includes improving the performance of core services that business teams directly interface with, as well as evolving the compute and data platform layer for improved scale and reliability. You will also explore new technologies and methodologies to integrate into Optiver's research workflows, enhancing the overall performance of the platform.
